For us to keep on delivering the best product on the market we will now strengthen our Platform Engineering team with an Infrastructure Engineer.
You will be a part of our Platform Engineering team who mainly works with Haskell. You will have a central role in our team where you will work independently with architecting and automating the deployment pipeline.
The position is remote, available to anyone living in the EU, but if you are located in any of our markets you can also come to work at our offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Amsterdam or Munich (subject to Covid-19 restrictions, of course). In this role you will report to your team lead and the Head of Platform.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining (and to large degree architecting and designing) the CI/CD pipeline for our backend services. Our CI/CD pipeline is written predominantly in Nix and Docker. They should have experience in dockerization of backend services and their deployment in a Kubernetes environment.
What you will do:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for our main product
- Adjust the pipelines for different hosting environments - AWS, Hosted or On-premises
- Coordinate with QA for testing
- Write documentation
- Architect our deployments
WHO ARE YOU?
To succeed in the role as Infrastructure Engineer, we expect you to meet the following minimum qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of experience from a similar role
- 3+ years experience working with Kubernetes
- Experience in Docker and Jenkins (or similar)
- Experience architecting CI/CD pipelines
- Desire to continuously improve existing deployment processes
Big bonus points if you have previous experience of:
- Backend development
- GitHub Actions
To succeed in the role as Infrastructure Developer in the Platform Engineering team we will need you to be self-reliant. You are able to independently choose work methods and make necessary decisions to drive work forward, also when there are no given routines or guidance. Initiative and continuous drive to find shortcomings in existing processes and improving them is a key part of the role.. You will also work closely with individual backend teams/developers so it will be crucial for you to be highly co-operative. Where you pay attention to others opinions, competence and performance and make an effort to adjust your own behaviour in order to create good working relationships with others. This role is all about finding and delivering the best solution, therefore you need to be solution oriented, you have the ability to break down problems, do an analysis and take action to prevent problems and find the best solution. Scrive is in a growing phase where we are moving fast forward, this means that your prioritized list could change quickly.
