Product Designer
We usually respond within two weeks
“Designing and owning exceptional product experiences that deliver value, make our customers more successful, and smile”
Martin, VP Product Management
You will be a part of…
...an international environment with offices around Europe with our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. You will join a fast and innovative environment and be part of an entrepreneurial and great-positioned company, growing at an exciting pace. Scrive is filled with caring, smart and committed people who know that we need to collaborate to win. We care about each other and challenge ourselves and each other in our strive to be better and grow, both as individuals and as a company. Our aim is, that a few years from now, you will be able to say; “We did that, I was a part of the Scrive Story.”
You will be joining the newly established Product Design team, in a rapidly growing Product department. And this is where we need you, to bring our interaction design and design system to a new level. You will report directly to the Head of Product Design. There’s a data team to support you, you will have access to user behaviour data, and you’ll be able to regularly talk to our users, both internal and external. You’ll also have support of graphic designers, copywriters and customer success managers. Our toolset is Figma, Miro, Moqups, Adobe CS, Slack, Productboard, and Pendo.
We’re working remote first and are happy anywhere within the E.U. to be your home. However, we’ll appreciate you joining us for design workshops once or twice a year in our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, where some of our members are located.
Your challenge
In this role, your main mission will be to bring the overall quality of design of our e-signing solution to a new level, which will help our users to be even more efficient and satisfied with it, and bring their focus more on the contracts they’re sending and signing, than to the process of handling them.
Secondly, you will help us to drive our emerging design system. You will make sure we’re aligned with frontend engineers on how to work with UI elements, and be the go-to person for other designers to discuss how to best use our components in their designs.
In your everyday work, you will:
Plan and conduct user research, with both internal and external users
Hold brainstormings and design workshops to generate solutions and sketch ideas in a team with other designers, product managers, engineers, and other roles, define success metrics
Design solutions form simple wireframes to interactive prototypes in high fidelity, test and iterate on them
Look for inspiration in similar products and systems, keep abreast of industry trends
Create elegant visual UI designs
Consult your solutions with developers and ensure smooth handoff
Give design feedback
Contribute to our product tone of voice, and UX writing guideline
Contribute to and curate our design system
Who you are
To succeed in the role as a Product Designer, we expect following qualifications:
Solid knowledge of design principles, processes and good practices, but being adaptive and happy to try new approaches
Being user-centric, curious, always trying to understand the root of user motivations
Great collaboration skills, even when working remotely
Communicating complex ideas, research findings and design decisions effectively and with a great clarity
Caring about the outcome of your work and deliver high quality design work at pace
Have a solid track record of previous designs demonstrating solving real user problems by designing interaction with simple and elegant UI
We expect 2-6 years of experience, but we care about actual skill more than the number of years worked
Bonus points for:
Experience with designing document processing software
Knowledge of eSign/eID domain
Experience with building a design system
Experience with UX writing
You can look forward to working in an environment that is incredibly caring and supportive, but also challenging and changing every day.
Our selection process is continuous, and the advert may close before the recruitment process is completed if we have moved forward to the screening or interview phase.
