We are looking for a Business Applications Developer to our Revenue Operations team. You will be part of a team with two others reporting directly to our Head of Revenue Operations. This is a cross-functional role, where you will collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Data, and Revenue. You can either be located at our Stockholm Office and work in a hybrid setup (both office and from home), or totally remote if you are located elsewhere.
Your challenge
As a Business Applications Developer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our billing processes, ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce, PE Accounting and the backend of our product. You will own, manage and continuously develop two key middlewares that are in place to automate our billing and related processes. You will work proactively with improvements and testing to ensure a smooth billing process, a critical part of generating our positive cash flow.
In your everyday work, your responsibilities will include:
Middleware Management: Own, manage and continue to develop the integration middlewares between Salesforce, PE, and our product backend to fetch usage data and ensure accurate billing.
Billing Processes: Oversee billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting.
Salesforce Development: Own Salesforce development and handle development and administration tasks related to Salesforce. Mostly on Revenue Cloud (CPQ + Billing modules).
Solution Architecture: Own architectural design of business applications - including middlewares, integrations, and Salesforce code base. Ensuring scalability, performance, and security across our application landscape.
Custom Integration: Build the odd custom system integration for when the standard integration doesn’t cut it and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues related to billing, integrations, and system performance.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of billing processes, system configurations, and integration workflows.

Minimum 2 years of experience in developing system integrations/middlewares
Proficiency in at least a few of the following programming languages - JavaScript, Java, C#, SQL, and/or Python is required
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in managing billing processes and system integrations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
🌟 Also, big bonus points if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with ERPs/Accounting systems, billing processes, and preferably accounting, such as having built these kinds of integrations and/or middlewares before is highly desirable
Experience with Salesforce development (APEX) and administration is highly beneficial but not required
Don’t meet every single requirement? Apply anyway! Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. We want to build a diverse and inclusive workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we still want to hear from you.
In this role we see that you are problem solving, structured, flexible and taking initiatives. We’re using a competence-based recruitment process where those competences will play an important role.
